ANSWERS
Ans 1: Most rainforest soil is very poor with all the nutrients available largely remaining at surface level. Because of this rainforest trees have very shallow roots.
Ans 2: Liana's climb on trees in order to reach out for SUNLIGHT. Plants need sunlight to grow!
Ans 3: An example of an epiphyte is the Bird Nest Fern. -choose any one fact from blog page- eg. Epiphytes are unique, because they do not harm the host they grow on. / All epiphytes need nitrogen, nutrients, and minerals to survive. etc.
